Lainey Davis

Headshot.jpg.jpeg

Lainey Davis is a first-year student at the University of Florida in the pre-dental program
and is in our newest alpha class AC’17. She is currently involved in Freshman
Leadership Council, the Emerging Leaders Program through Dance Marathon. Lainey
serves as the Intramural Chair for the Gamma Iota chapter, and as a Florida Cicerone
on campus.
“ADPi has given me the confidence to aim high and try to be the best version of myself
possible. Every day, I am inspired by the tremendous people and positivity around me in
this chapter, and feel blessed for numerous role models I have to look up to every time I
step inside the house. Sisters in ADPi have not only supported me in my endeavors, but
have gone out of their way to ensure I had the best shot possible, no matter what the
position is. I truly feel the strength of this sisterhood on a daily basis and wouldn’t be who I am today without ADPi"

Gaylen Morgan

Congratulations to Gaylen Morgan for being awarded as Sister in the Spotlight!

We are proud of Gaylen for her internship at the U.S. House of Representatives among other things. Along with her ADPi sister Scout Royce, she worked for the office of Congressman Thomas Rooney and assisted legislative staff on various projects. Gaylen reflects, "The internship allowed me to see the depth of our Government and the many ways in which you can work in the political field... it showed me just how powerful legislation is and ultimately led me to want to write federal policy." She later revealed that her goal is to teach and be involved with Congress and legislature.

Gaylen has an impressive resume that exhibits her involvement on campus. She was named Treasurer and later President of the UF Education College Council, A.D. of Service for UF Panhellenic Council, Executive Director of Gator Day, and Community Service and Florida Greek Standards Chair for our very own chapter. Gaylen is an incredible asset to our chapter not only by exceeding Alpha Delta Pi's emphasis on service and leadership, but by inspiring others with her motivation.
